Our story

Since 1997

Performance Adviser is born from the symbiosis of two entities, Lavorel Media Comm and Swiss Media Press. Created by Christine and Yves Lavorel in 1997, each entity played a specific role within the world of communication and media.

Lavorel Media Comm was a structure dedicated to communication in France for local and national advertisers. Historically, the entity specialised in local outdoor advertising but very quickly opened up to other media channels and the national market. 

Swiss Media Press, was a structure dedicated to French advertisers who wished to communicate within Switzerland. The company's main activity was that of an advertising agency, representing and marketing Swiss media in France. The Swiss DNA is very present within the agency, both through one of its founders, Yves Lavorel, who is Franco-Swiss, and through the history of its Swiss media representation activities. 

More than just a Swiss press advisor, Swiss Media Press has become a leading agency in deploying media plans in Switzerland, covering all communication channels. Its long-standing exclusive partnerships and privileged ties with the Swiss media have grown year by year. The media sales house has become a must-have for any French advertiser wishing to communicate in the Swiss market.

As the years have gone by, agencies have progressed and have been able to adapt to each of their markets. The two agencies have very quickly moved towards cross-media activations as well In France, in Switzerland and more generally internationally

As our clients were satisfied with our service, they entrusted us with a much broader scope than initially covered by the activities of the two entities, thus promoting a more relevant cohesion for the communication project. 

Henceforth, having two distinct entities with restrictive names no longer made sense. Lavorel Media Komm and Swiss Media Press merged in 2015 to become a single entity under the name Performance Adviser, an independent media agency for media strategy and communication. 

Our media agency develops as well as in-depth expertise on Local communication projects just on National media strategies and international, with an omnichannel logic.
