This figure represents 30% of those surveyed. Every week, 5 million people watch at least one local television channel. However, many of them follow all kinds of content created by these influencers, mainly in the areas of: cooking (47%), culture (43%), travel (39%) and sport (38%). This has led one-third of them to discover a product and a quarter to purchase it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, 6 out of 10 French people \u2013 or 61% \u2013 believe that content on social media has a significant influence on society. The figures show that in July, they sold 2.17 million copies and recorded 842 million visits to their websites and apps.
